Permissions with a purpose
No browsing-history access.
The Chrome extension requests storage, alarms, notifications, and identity access to retain preferences, schedule reminders, show notifications, and connect your account. It does not request permission to read browsing history or page contents.
The web and Mac products download the pose model and runtime they need. Those requests do not include camera frames.

Posture privacy FAQ
Can PostureKind watch me remotely?
No. PostureKind does not receive the camera feed or raw pose landmarks. Camera access is controlled by your device and begins only after you deliberately start it.
Does “on-device” mean nothing is ever synced?
No. It means the sensitive camera processing remains local. Active subscribers can sync a bounded session summary and goals so supported progress appears across their devices. That summary excludes camera frames, images, raw landmarks, calibration measurements, page contents, and browsing history.
Can I use PostureKind without a camera?
Yes. Timed movement, distance-gaze, and feet-and-support reminders can operate in reminders-only mode without posture monitoring.
