PostureKindPrivacy first

Privacy without the fine-print fog.

Effective September 10, 2026

Camera and pose processing

Camera access begins only after you start a session and grant browser or operating-system permission. Pose estimation runs locally on your device. PostureKind does not record, upload, or retain camera frames or pose landmarks.

Local model files

The web, Chrome, and macOS products download packaged MediaPipe runtime and model files from PostureKind. Camera frames are never included in those requests. The Chrome extension includes these files inside the extension package.

Accounts and access

We use Clerk for Google and email sign-in. Clerk receives the account information needed to authenticate you under its Privacy Policy. We store your authentication identifier and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers so one account can unlock the web, Chrome, and macOS products. We do not store your Google password.

Information stored locally

Preferences, calibration measurements, reminder timestamps, and detailed session history may be stored in your browser, extension, or app storage. That local information stays with the device or browser profile unless you clear it. A random browser identifier is used to enforce the short public sample; it is not a fingerprint and contains no camera data.

Shared progress and goals

When an active subscriber connects an account, PostureKind syncs a bounded session summary so Today, 7-day, and 30-day progress can appear across the web, Chrome, and macOS products. The summary contains a random session identifier, product surface, local calendar date, start and end times, monitored seconds, total and within-range sample counts, cue counts, and completed movement- and distance-gaze-break counts. It does not contain camera frames, images, raw pose landmarks, calibration measurements, browsing history, page contents, medical information, or free text. Synced session summaries are deleted after 90 days. Weekly goal values and their update time are stored with the account until changed or the account is deleted, subject to records we must retain for security or legal reasons.

Optional Share Week links

Share Week is off until you deliberately create a link and choose which supported habit totals to include. A frozen seven-day snapshot may contain the week’s date range and your selected monitored minutes, active days, movement breaks, or distance-gaze breaks. The public page does not include your name, email, account identifier, within-range percentage or sample counts, cues, goals, daily chart or schedule, individual session details or timestamps, device or product-surface split, camera data, frames, images, pose landmarks, browsing activity, or free text. The private account association exists only so you can list or revoke your links. Personalized card images are generated and downloaded locally in your browser or app; PostureKind does not receive that image, and social-link previews use a generic image with no personal totals. We keep only bounded aggregate counts of link views and clicks on the PostureKind call to action—no recipient IP address, user agent, referrer, fingerprint, or per-view record. Anyone who has the link can view the selected totals until it expires or you revoke it. Revocation cannot recall copies, screenshots, or cached previews already made by someone else. The expired or revoked record may remain for up to 30 additional days for support and abuse review.

Payments and Stripe

MPRR.Co uses Stripe to process trials, subscriptions, cancellations, invoices, and payment methods. Stripe receives information you provide such as email, billing details, and payment information. PostureKind does not receive your full card number. Stripe processes information under its Privacy Policy. We receive subscription status, plan, customer, and transaction identifiers needed to provide access and billing support.

Product use, feedback, and support

We collect a small set of first-party product-funnel events—such as starting the demo, completing calibration, opening sign-in, choosing a plan, completing checkout, and whether a focused feedback prompt was shown, answered, or dismissed—so we can find broken or confusing steps. Feedback-prompt events use fixed prompt and answer codes rather than note text. These events may include a pseudonymous visitor or account identifier, product surface, app version, plan, billing interval, trial day, and event time. They never include camera frames, pose landmarks, health data, free-text, page URLs, or browsing history, and are deleted after 90 days. We do not use advertising or cross-site analytics trackers.

Short in-product questions may ask about calibration, cue timing, product use, or reasons you may not continue. If you respond, we store your answer, optional note, app version, platform, plan, trial day, the product moment that prompted the question, and its private owner-review status. A separate checkbox lets a signed-in person allow contact through their account email about possibly sharing that particular feedback. It is unchecked by default, and even an opt-in is not permission to publish: PostureKind must separately obtain approval for the exact quote, attribution, and placement. Support requests store your email, selected topic, message, and submission time. We never attach camera frames or pose landmarks. Optional notes and support messages are transmitted and stored exactly as entered, so please do not include health information.

Customer reviews

Signed-in Standard and Pro customers may submit a one-to-five-star rating, a short written review, and an optional display name. We also store the product surface, plan, submission and update times, moderation status, and whether the customer explicitly permitted publication. Review prompts use account-level counters and snooze times so they can be limited across web, Chrome, and macOS. A review remains private unless its separate publication checkbox is selected; that choice permits PostureKind to display the exact rating, quote, and display name on PostureKind properties and marketing after human moderation. Public reviews are labeled as verified customer reviews. Customers can withdraw a review from the product dashboard. We do not publish account identifiers or email addresses, and we do not offer rewards for positive reviews.

Weekly newsletter

If you explicitly join the PostureKind weekly note, we store your email address, signup source, consent and confirmation times, subscription status, and cryptographic confirmation and unsubscribe token hashes. Confirmation-message details remain in a delivery-disabled outbox until an email provider is configured. We use this information only to operate PostureKind emails and understand aggregate newsletter growth. We do not add product accounts, trial users, or support contacts to the newsletter without separate consent and confirmation. Every marketing email will include an immediate unsubscribe option, and unsubscribed addresses remain on a suppression list so they are not mailed again unless the owner deliberately opts in and reconfirms. Newsletter signup is optional and is not required to use the product.

Notifications and permissions

Notifications are optional. You can revoke camera and notification access through browser or operating-system settings. The Chrome extension requests storage, alarms, notification, and identity access only to retain preferences, schedule requested reminders, show those reminders, and securely connect the extension to your posturekind.com account.

Health information

PostureKind is not a medical service and does not ask for a diagnosis. Camera-derived posture signals are local habit estimates, not medical records or clinical measurements.

Retention and choices

Local information remains until you clear it. Synced session summaries are deleted after 90 days; weekly goals remain with an open account until changed or deleted. Support and product-feedback records are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Customer reviews remain until they are withdrawn or the account is deleted; prompt cadence records may remain with the account to honor dismissals. Newsletter records are retained while you remain subscribed and as needed to honor an unsubscribe request. Account and access records are retained while your account remains open and as needed for security; you may request deletion through support, subject to required billing and fraud-prevention records. Stripe retains billing records under its policies and applicable financial laws. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the Stripe customer portal.

Children

PostureKind is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
