What changed, and why.
Concrete product improvements, published while PostureKind is in founding beta.
PostureKind for Mac
- Added direct Apple Silicon and Intel downloads with a familiar drag-to-Applications installer.
- Signed both apps with a Developer ID certificate and completed Apple notarization and Gatekeeper validation.
- Put the download inside the signed-in product dashboard so one account unlocks the web and Mac experiences.
- Kept the current limitation explicit: the menu-bar app does not need a browser tab, but this release still needs an internet connection.
Progress you can use everywhere
- Added private 7- and 30-day trends for monitored time, time within your own calibrated range, cues, and completed breaks.
- Added editable weekly goals for monitored time, active days, movement breaks, and distance-gaze breaks.
- Made the same account summary available on the web, in the Chrome popup, and in the macOS app source.
- Kept camera frames and raw pose landmarks out of sync; only bounded aggregate counters are retained for 90 days.
Chrome release candidate
- Added a no-account camera preview, now extended to ten minutes.
- Made every popup action lead somewhere useful and clarified locked Pro controls.
- Separated signed-in status from paid access so plan prompts no longer loop through sign-in.
- Made Today statistics day-scoped and aggregated across sessions.
Calibration and reminders
- Made side turns work when the farther ear or shoulder is naturally hidden.
- Used both side views to personalize bounded head and lean tolerances.
- Added visible head, shoulder, torso, and reference lines over the camera view.
- Rescheduled Chrome reminders immediately after preference changes.
Founding web beta
- Launched the private on-device web monitor with front and side calibration.
- Added movement, distance-gaze, and desk-setup reminders.
- Added focused feedback questions after calibration, cues, and early sessions.
- Published plain-language privacy, support, and subscription terms.
